| Time and place |
The 13th International Handball Tournament "Makarska 2010" will take place during the period between June 26th and June 30th 2010. in Makarska. The total duration of the tournament will be five (5) days. All the matches of this tournament will be placed in New sports arena, and in the open playgrounds in the town of Makarska (concrete, artificial grass and tartan), with beginning on June 26th in the morning at 9,00 a.m. Opening ceremony will be on the same day at 8,30 p.m. |

All male and female handball players have the
right to participate and they get classified into groups, as
follows:

The identity and the year of birth for each participant will be establish on the spot, upon the arrival of the teams to Makarska and after the fill-in forms for the Competition Committee will be completed, on the basis of a certified list of male and female players, when the participants will also have to present their passports or identity cards. If the player of the club is older then age category in which team is competing, club will be automatically disqualified and organiser doesn't have obligation to payback paid expenses.
IMPORTANT: In a case that till the set deadline in each generation won't be at least 6 (six) teams, competition in that generation will be held only in the case that each registered team in that category wants that. |
| Competition system |
| For each team participating in the tournament Makarska 2010 at least five (5) games will be provided during period of 5 days. A larger number of played matches will depend on the final number of teams registered in each individual category. |
| Prepayment for the participation |
| Each team participating in the Tournament "Makarska 2010" is due to pay the fee of 120 € (in accordance with the official exchange rate on the day of payment). Registration fee for two (2) teams is 220 €, fee for three (3) teams is 310 €, fee for four (4) teams is 390 €. For every additional team fee is 50 Euros. The fees will be used to cover different expenses related to the organisation (e. g. judges, sanitary service, insurance, prizes...). All registrations and payments are going directly through organiser. If contraire, team must pay additional fee of 300 €uros. |
| Accommodation and food |
The organiser has provided different categories of accommodation according to team's needs, wishes and possibilities. Accommodation can be full pension (sleeping + breakfast + lunch + dinner) or half pension (sleeping + breakfast + lunch or dinner).
The organiser guaranties only in case of official application and paid fees. |
| Prizes |
The organiser of the Tournament "Makarska 2010" has provided prizes for the best placed teams in each age category, as follows:
1st place - a cup + 16 golden medals
2nd place - a cup + 16 silver medals
3rd place - a cup + 16 bronze medals.
The organiser will give award to best individual in each age category as follows: best female/male player, best female/male goalkeeper, and best scorer. |

Organizer of 13th International "Makarska Cup 2010" will give a special award to GRAND WINNER of this year tournament.
Except sports results and position on list of teams, important will be sports behavior on the field (of players, coaches, and leadership), behavior in accommodations and restaurants, number of members, and we will specially appreciate joyful and cheerful behavior of participants on and out of the field.
To have a chance to get a valuable trophy from organizer, teams must participate with their representatives in the Opening ceremony of tournament on June 26th. |
| Social, tourist and cultural-recreational aspects |
The participants of the tournament will enjoy in the wonderful natural features of Makarska and its Riviera, with its wonderful sea and mountain landscapes, and cultural traditions, so they can visit mountain Biokovo (1762 m), and The Parish of Medjugorje (60 km). They can also visit some of the most beautiful cities in region like Ancient town of Split, world famous Dubrovnik, beautiful sunny islands Hvar and Brač.
The host will provide an entertainment program:
o The traditional "Miss" and Mr." beauty contests
o Ethnic and rock music concert
o Lottery
o Tourist excursions
o Beach fun (held on the wonderful beach of the Adriatic Coast)
o The cultural sightseeing
And the summit of your completely joyful stay will be the opportunity of swimming in the Adriatic and sunbathing along the Makarska beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the whole Mediterranean! |
