- Speleološki odsjek Planinarskog društva Sveučilišta "Velebit" svake godine organizira već tradicionalnu speleološku školu (s najdužom tradicijom u Hrvatskoj). Polaznici škole moraju svladati praktične vještine potrebne za kretanje po špiljama te tehnike spuštanja i penjanja po užetu. Nauče osnove speleologije, sve o planinarskoj i speleološkoj opremi, o orijentaciji, čvorovima i crtanju speleoloških objekata, o bivakiranju u prirodi.

- In Fuzine 33 new people becomes cavers, as they pass an exam By Croatian Speleological Association. Young cavers and speleologists are from all around Croatia. Next exams will be 5 th of July 1997, before two International Speleological Expeditions by Croatian cavers.

- Speleocamp
- Speleological Section Velebit held a speleo camp at the Mt Velebit from 26 July till 17th August. Thirty members of the club and a guest from the Speleoclub Had have explored 23 pits; 18 of them were less than 50 m deep, 4 pits are 100 till 150 m deep and the deepest is 533 m deep named Patkov gust.

- Speleološki odsjek Velebit (SOV) dio je Planinarskog društva sveučilišta "Velebit", a osnovan je 1954. godine. Odsjek danas broji pedesetak aktivnih članova. Iako je speleologija naša glavna preokupacija, bavimo se još i slobodnim penjanjem, alpinizmom, biciklizmom, turnim skijanjem i skijaškim trèanjem, kao i paraglidingom. Dobro društvo u planinama i špiljama razvija ono što mi zovemo pravi Velebitaški duh.
